The beginning of this project was inspired by the similarities between Risograph printing and Kohakutou making. We saw that each step in the process shared the same aesthetic and uniqueness, such as the beauty of imperfection, small detail, time matters, and unexpected results.
Our collaboration spread to mini exhibition, merchandise and 2-colour Risograph workshop.
Our very first collaborative project with an independent graphic artist, Benjrat Aiamrat,
who is owned @ben_mizu.confectionery. A passion project, a tiny edible-art business that interprets Japanese-style confectionery (Wagashi), with seaweed-based agar (Kohakutou) to create edible art-pieces that will bring pleasure and inspiration to customers. With believe that confectionery is more than just a snack; It is a way to express and transfer creativity to others.
